I recently received an email from a photographer who is well-known on the internet and offers webinars and classes in various photographic techniques. In the email he "outed" himself in relation to the recent January 20th "presidential inauguration" in the United States. We had had some correspondence in the past, and apparently I was still on his mailing list. In order to preserve his real identity, I will simply call him "George". Following is part of the email message that George sent to me:
"Watching the inauguration ceremony for President Biden and Vice-President Harris this morning, I wept. Tears of joy at having a competent, caring, decent administration that believes in science in charge. Tears of sadness for all those we've lost to Covid-19, and for the shattering of comity, sanity, and truth. Tears of relief that there is hope, and that we can start over without descending further down the rabbit hole of know-nothingism, authoritarianism, and fascism.

I must confess that I was somewhat perplexed and taken aback by this strange message and admission seemingly from "out of the blue". And his reference to the Biden Nightmare as "a competent, caring, decent administration" was just plain bizarre. I knew straight away that I was dealing with a man deeply afflicted with acute symptoms of mainstream media induced TDS--Trump Derangement Syndrome.
